BAGS OF BUCKS: A Charity Stream
The world today sucks.
I mean, it usually sucks some small to medium amount, but in recent weeks it’s been worse.
That’s part of the reason why this Saturday, May 16, I will be hosting a charity stream via Twitch (twitch.tv/thelastbags), starting at noon and running through midnight.
Donations, by viewers like you, will be given to Second Harvest Foodbank of Southern Wisconsin, a member of Feeding America. Charity Navigator, a charity watchdog and ranking group, has given Second Harvest a 98.23 / 100 rank. Wow, what showoffs. (Check out Charity Navigator’s full review of Second Harvest here.)
It is perhaps important to note that I have not informed them I’m doing this, and they have in no way endorsed this.
I’ll be playing some party games that you’ll be able to join. I’ll also be playing games that are just fun to watch.
RECAP:
WHEN:
Saturday, May 16 from noon to midnight
WHERE?
WHY?
Donating to Second Harvest Foodbank of Southern Wisconsin
WHAT:
Games to be played include: Jackbox, Valorant, Overwatch, Dream Daddy, Alien: Isolation, and Cuphead.
HOW?
During the stream, you can go to my tip page (streamlabs.com/thelastbags/tip), and use PayPal to tip. You can also tip me within Twitch directly by purchasing bits and cheering me. All bits cheered during the event will go toward the foodbank.
Please do not tip or send money until Saturday so that we can accurately count numbers! Thank you!
NOTE:
Never purchased or used Bits before? No problem! Check this out: Purchase bits within Twitch. It’s a perfectly acceptable alternative to direct donation.

I mentioned earlier that coronavirus is only part of the reason why I’m doing this. The other reason why I’m doing this is because I’m unemployed and currently making money by playing video games. It’s weird but neat. Subscribing to me during this stream also helps me make money.
So, it’s 99% about the foodbank, but perhaps 1% about me.
OK actually, it’s 99% foodbank. 0.5% my cats, 0.5% me. I feel better now.
So on Saturday, stop by my Twitch stream (twitch.tv/thelastbags), hang out, play some games, and give some money to a great charity.
Love,
Erik
